This album by jazz pianist Bobby Timmons and his trio is an excellent collection of soul, bop, spiritual and blues-influenced tracks, originally released in 1963. This underrated record does not seem to be widely available today and has received limited re-releases. Fortunately, I stumbled across this original pressing by chance and am happy to give it some attention.
My copy suffered a great deal of wear and scratches before I found it, but I have been able to remove most of noise from the transfer using Click Repair from AMR. The result has a few imperfections but is much improved and very enjoyable.
