The Grupo Afrocuba de Matanzas, with its natural timbre, was recorded in situ and joins the Conjunto de Clave y Guaguanco group to offer a sound dose to the origins of this genre. Famous voices, such as those of Carlos Embale and Celeste Mendoza, give an interpretation which sets the tone for new generations. Los Papines, Pello el Afrokan and the Trio Matamoros interpret the most up-to-date forms of street music.
