Martina represents a successful nightclub owner accused of murdering his friend and business partner, while Darlene causes friction at Stark & Rowan when she reveals a big secret to Riley. Martina agrees to take on the case of a man whose wife was killed in a jewelry store heist gone awry. Also, Martina must teach her nephew a valuable lesson when he is caught stealing. Donovan and Nolan ask Martina to help land a client for the firm, a former high school quarterback, who lost out on a pro football career due to injuries ignored by his coaches. Meanwhile, a problem in the accounting department at Stark & Rowan causes a delay in Martina's first paycheck.

In the penultimate episode of Major Crimes, Phillip Stroh and his young British accomplice, edge closer and closer to their end game, while Lt. Provenza continues to push Asst. Chief Leo Mason into pouring more resources into the case. Rusty digs up an important clue. Unable to locate Stroh in the present, the squad looks for answers in his distant past, hunting for the former Ms. Bechtal. Meanwhile, the squad struggles with Chief Mason, and Rusty grows frustrated with forced proximity to Gus. A surprise death in the law enforcement community seems to be the work of escaped serial killer, Phillip Stroh. Ricky Raydor helps the division with a difficult search for a Mr. and Ms. Bechtal, and Emily Raydor offers Rusty some sound advice. Sharon Raydor must make decisions related to her ongoing health problems while arriving at the solution of a series of murders and sexual assaults.

Reba's wayward brother, Blake (Blake Shelton), pays a surprise visit and comes up with a hasty plan to turn Lillie Mae's BBQ sauce into a profitable business. But Blake's dubious past for trying to make a quick buck without asserting a lot of effort makes Reba fear that he'll let their mother down with his latest get-rich-quick scheme. Meanwhile, when June lets it slip at school that Cash is still a virgin, Uncle Blake gives him some questionable advice, which Cash awkwardly puts into action to help remedy his situation. Reba, June and Cash vie to give Lillie Mae the very best birthday gift. But when her wish is for Reba to bowl for her league’s opposing team, the competition gets less than friendly.
