    Key & Peele

    comedy

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele present "Key & Peele," an original sketch-comedy show coming to Comedy Central in 2012. In this new series these fresh, relevant comedic actor-writers, used to being on the outside looking in, will examine life in a provocative and irreverent way, through a combination of filmed sketches and live stage segments. Whether it's satirizing the President, spoofing Nazis, or ordering up some soul food, "Key & Peele" will showcase their chemistry, camaraderie and unique point of view, born from their shared background and experiences growing up biracial in a not quite post-racial world. Neil deGrasse Tyson relaxes at home; Keegan endures a job interview; a tailor has a gassy client; the valets discuss “Game of Thrones”; a new strategy for telemarketing. Judge Jessie has a new show; a man waits for his job interview; two ladies catch up over drinks; the valets discuss Val Kilmer; a retired military specialist is briefed on a new project; a woman introduces her fiancé to her parents. A politician denies sending lewd photos; a detective interrogates a rapper; Cedric and Levi find lightning in a bottle; two Southern gentlemen compliment women; Jordan runs into an old friend; a cop takes things literally. Sketches include a terror outfit operating a food truck; a college a cappella group getting a new member; Meegan and André going on their first date; a PSA that helps prevent child soldiers in Africa; and two old men discussing popular music. Season 5 premiere sketches include a football team getting psyched up before a game; President Obama and Luther meeting Hillary Clinton; two men discussing potential threats on a flight; a band of pirates singing a chantey. Also: a trigger-happy cop.

    Killer Women

    dramawestern

Of all the notorious lawmen who ever patrolled the violent Texas frontier, none are more storied than the Texas Rangers. And none could be more macho. While the once all-male bastion now allows "lady rangers", no one can say they are welcomed. Being the only female ranger in this elite squad isn't going to stop Molly Parker, she's ballsy and badass enough to get the job done despite a good-ole network filled with harassment and discrimination. In another profession, being a stunning former beauty queen might open doors but for Molly... that distinction only makes it harder. Molly is committed to finding the truth and seeing justice served; a trait no doubt inherited from her father, a former Texas sheriff. She's even willing to break some rules to get it done. Molly has to work with a sexist, retired Texas Ranger after an arrest she makes leads to a tip about an unsolved murder case he wasn't able to close, and Billy is forced to make a decision that could help capture a drug cartel leader but would also put his family's safety at risk. Molly is on the case when a famous basketball star is murdered in his home. Meanwhile, Becca plans a date night to let Billy in on some life changing news, and Dan receives a credible tip leading to an arrest of an unlikely suspect. Molly is on the hunt for a serial killer who murders women that remind her of her own abusive mother. Meanwhile, Molly introduces Dan to her family for the first time and Becca makes plans for Hailee's Quinceanera. Molly is assigned to the case of a female bank robber. Molly is conflicted when she discovers the identity of the perpetrator, especially since the FBI agent she is working with seems to have no such problem. In her personal life, Molly's boyfriend is subpoenaed to testify at her divorce hearing, and she suspects her brother is cheating on his wife. When a man is killed at a black-tie gala, it leads Molly to chase down an assassin who has been killing off abusive husbands. Meanwhile, Jake is still doing his best to delay their divorce for Molly.

    King & Maxwell

    drama

Sean King and Michelle Maxwell aren’t your typical private investigators. Both are former Secret Service agents, and their unique skills – not to mention their razor-sharp chemistry – give them a leg up on conventional law enforcement. Maxwell is a former elite athlete who uses her brains, beauty and Beltway connections to solve cases. King's career in the Secret Service ended when the presidential candidate he was assigned to protect was assassinated, sending him on a downward spiral. Today, King has added a law degree to his arsenal of skills, allowing him to navigate the system in ways a typical private investigator never could. Along the way, King and Maxwell clash over everything, from her garbage-strewn car to his love of wine over beer. In the season finale, Sean's investigation of the Ritter assassination threatens to end his partnership with Michelle as she considers returning to the Secret Service. The shocking truth sends Sean back to the scene of the crime to prevent history from repeating itself. When the key witness to a company's deadly chemical spill is murdered inside FBI headquarters, King and Maxwell are trapped in the building. With a killer on the loose and Special Agent Rigby's career on the line, they have only hours to solve the murder and find a new witness to testify at a Senate hearing to bring the company to justice. King and Maxwell are hired to locate a stolen cell phone and are immediately put to the test when the search turns into an unexpected partnership with the CIA. Meanwhile, Sean receives some interesting information regarding the Ritter assassination. When Michelle's P.I. brother comes to town on behalf of his wealthy client, he enlists the help of King and Maxwell to solve the case. Their investigation leads to a strange connection between a criminally insane mob boss and the witness protection program. A congressman with a connection to Sean's past hires King and Maxwell to uncover the secret identity of a menacing tabloid blogger. When the target of their investigation is suddenly murdered, their search leads them to a hired hit man and an unexpected betrayal.

    Kings

    drama

From executive producer Michael Green (NBC’s "Heroes") comes a riveting new drama about a modern day monarchy. "Kings" is a contemporary re-telling of the timeless tale of David and Goliath. This series is an epic story of greed and power, war and romance, forbidden loves and secret alliances -- and a young hero who rises to power in a modern-day kingdom. King Silas Benjamin (Ian McShane, "Deadwood") is the well-entrenched king of Gilboa, whose flag bears a divine butterfly symbol. Gilboa has its capital in Shiloh, a clean new city that is unspoiled by time or litter. Silas must deal with the tensions rising between Gilboa and neighboring nation Gath. When several prisoners of war are taken, a young soldier, David Shepherd (Chris Egan, "Eragon"), defies orders and crosses enemy lines to save them. Unknown to David, the soldier he saves is Jack Benjamin (Sebastian Stan, "The Covenant"), the son of the king. From that day forth, David’s life will never be the same. Susanna Thompson ("Once & Again") plays Queen Rose Benjamin, a distant, yet supportive wife. Allison Miller ("Lucy’s Piano") stars as King Silas’ beautiful, intelligent and outspoken daughter, Michelle. General Linus Abner (Wes Studi, "Comanche Moon," "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee"), Reverend Ephram Samuels (Eamonn Walker, "Oz") and William Cross, Silas’ brother-in-law (Dylan Baker, "Spiderman 2"), try to influence King Silas. From Universal Media Studios, "Kings" is executive-produced by Green, Erwin Stoff ("I Am Legend") and Francis Lawrence ("I Am Legend"), who also directed the pilot. Jack and William make plans for Jack to take his father's place as King of Gilboa. To everyone's surprise, Silas is alive and David escapes Shiloh to warn Silas about the chaos to come. After imprisoning Jack and David for treason, Silas continues with his plan to hand over Port Prosperity to long-time enemy Gath. Meanwhile, Michelle seeks a way to keep David alive. When David is arrested for treason, Silas hands the trial to Jack to deal with. David is sent to recover the Charter of Gilboa, and learns some news of his father's death. Jack and Katrina announce their engagement, causing issues within the royal family. Silas reveals part of his life outside of the palace, after he and David go to the country. Meanwhile, Rose tries to keep Michelle and Jack's secrets under wraps.
